Overview: The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the
daily operations of project sites, ensuring that projects are
executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the project
plan. This role involves supervising field personnel, coordinating
project activities, and ensuring that project milestones and
quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision:
Oversee daily operations on project sites, ensuring work is
performed according to project plans, specifications, and safety
standards. Supervise and direct field personnel, including
contractors, subcontractors, and tradespeople. Ensure that project
site activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with the Project Manager and other
team members to ensure alignment of project objectives and
deliverables. Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may
arise during project execution. Quality Control: Monitor work
quality and ensure that all work meets the required standards and
specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits of work
performed to identify and address any quality issues. Implement
corrective actions to address any deviations from project plans or
quality standards. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all site
activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and
industry standards. Report and document any safety incidents or
accidents and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and effective
communication with the Project Manager, team members, and
stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress,
including any delays, issues, or changes in scope. Prepare and
submit daily or weekly progress reports and documentation as
required. Resource Management: Coordinate with suppliers and
vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Identify potential issues or
risks that may impact project progress and take proactive measures
to address them. Resolve on-site problems and conflicts efficiently
to minimize disruptions to project timelines. Escalate issues to
the Project Manager as necessary for additional support or
decision-making. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain
accurate and detailed records of site activities, including daily
logs, work orders, and inspection reports. Ensure proper
documentation of any changes to project scope, schedule, or budget.
Assist in the preparation of project close-out documentation and
final reports. Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience
in construction or project supervision, with a proven track record
of successfully managing project sites. Skills: Strong supervisory
and leadership abilities. Excellent problem-solving and
decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal
skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Technical
Proficiency: Proficiency in construction management software and
tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
and Word. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety
regulations. Working Conditions: Primarily field-based, with
regular visits to project sites. May require working in varying
weather conditions and physical environments. Ability to work
flexible hours or extended shifts to meet project deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Requirements Valid DL MVR with limited violations Willing to Travel
