Job Description:
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a compassionate and
skilled Part-time Veterinarian to join our team, dedicated to
providing end-of-life care in a home-based setting. This role
involves working closely with pets and their families to ensure a
peaceful and dignified conclusion to a pet's life journey. The
ideal candidate will have experience in veterinary hospice or
palliative care, possess excellent communication skills, and uphold
the values of empathy and respect in all interactions. Conduct
in-home euthanasia and hospice care consultations. Administer
medications and perform sedation with the utmost care and
compliance. Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing
emotional support and clear instructions for ongoing care.
Coordinate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide
comprehensive end-of-life services. Maintain accurate records of
patient care and medications. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Experience in euthanasia and pain management
Ability to handle emotional situations with compassion Proficiency
in mobile veterinary practice and tools Medical Insurance Dental

Veterinary Medicine Completion of a recognized Veterinary Hospice
and Palliative Care program is highly desirable
