service providers. JOB DESCRIPTION Board Certified Behavior
AnalystPOSITION SUMMARY The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will
provide intensive treatment for children and adolescents, all of
which have an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The majority of the
services involve providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention
for young children, but can also involve conducting Functional
Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans.
Our ABA team is highly experienced and is committed to serving
children and families with special needs. ROLE The Behavior Analyst
will provide: supervision to Behavior Technicians and 1:1
behavioral intervention programs to children, in addition to
developing programs, behavior intervention plans (as needed), and
program monitoring of their caseload. The BCBA position is to be
considered a leadership role within DE. The ideal candidate will be
able to develop client's treatment plans, as well as supervise
Behavior Technicians to implement such plans. Behavior Technicians
will rely on their BCBA to assist them in overcoming challenges and
answer questions about their day to day client interactions. Solid
communication skills and openness to feedback are necessary. The
BCBA should be organized, and self-sufficient to successfully
perform in this role. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities
will include, but will not be limited to, the following:Provide
supervision of behavior technicians working with clients.Implement
:1 behavioral intervention programs to childrenParticipate in
training activities as needed that provides instruction on Applied
Behavior Analysis, discrete trail teaching techniques, management
of challenging behaviors, child development and data collection
techniques applicable to the client population. In addition to
recording and reporting on the behavior of individual children as
assignedAssist with training and competency checklists for new and
existing behavior techniciansReceive supervision from the Behavior
Services Director for each client they work with on a monthly
basis.Communicate with supervisory staffPrepare and conduct team
meetingsMonthly graphing and progress reportsIntroduce and train
new client programs under guidance of Behavior Services
DirectorManage and update client's program bookConduct VB-MAPP,
ABLLS-R, ALFS, or other curriculum assessments adopted by
HarwoodDevelop functional behavior assessment and behavior
intervention plan under the supervision and guidance of the
Behavior Services DirectorAssist with daily changes and updates to
schedule as children and/or staff are out due to illness, vacation,
etc.Prepare social skills, circle time, gross motor, natural
environment teaching, etc.Delegate stimuli prep to behavior
technicians as time allowsAssess children using ABLLS, VB-MAPP,
PEAK, Vineland and QABF, MAS, FAST and Functional Behavior
Assessment as needed.Maintain caseload of clients: Write
comprehensive Individual Behavior Plan for each child
assessed.Develop and implement skills acquisition, social skills
programs (FBAs and FAAs)Develop and implement positive behavior
plans and strategies (PBSP, PBIP)Create recommendations for
comprehensive services.Provide consultation and training for
parents, teachers, and community members.Staff, train, coach and
facilitate treatment teams; program monitoring, etc...Collaborate
with other treatment team members and members of the child's
education environment regarding patients' progress through
interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal
discussions as appropriate.Ensure that medical record documentation
protocols are complied with. Ensures that patients' progress notes
are entered into the medical records on a timely basis and in
accordance with established organizational procedures.Provide
training/supervision to interns as assigned.Participate in
education and training programs for patients, families, or
community groups.Provide consultation to professionals, hospitals,
organizations, schools or agencies outside of this organization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS A minimum of a master's degree in applied
behavior analysis and hold an active status as a Board Certified
Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Must be currently certified as a BCBA with
the Behavior Analytic Certification Board. Individuals who have
recently competed their Master's Degree and are waiting to take the
BACB exam will be considered on an individual basis.Maintain CEU
requirement and BCBA credential with Behavior Analytic
Certification Board (BACB).Obtain and maintain good standing
certification commiserate with treatment provided.Training and
clinical experience in providing applied behavior analysis to
children and families. Experience working with children with autism
spectrum disorders preferred.Analytical skills necessary in order
to synthesize a variety of clinical and social data to determine
appropriate diagnosis, treatment plan and monitor effectiveness of
treatment programs.Two years of postgraduate clinical experience
preferred but not mandatory. Management and Mentorship Create a

working relationships with Polara Health staff and supervisors, as
well as external contactsServe on various staff and board
