HotFoot Recruiters has partnered with an Aerospace Supplier in need of a Direct Hire Systems Engineer IV in the Prescott, AZ area.

Position: Systems Engineer IV
Location: Prescott, AZ
Salary: 135-155k base salary

JOB SUMMARY
This role has a particular emphasis on the development of avionics equipment including servers, audio equipment, software defined radios, navigation receivers, transponders, and similar hardware. The systems engineer is crucial in the innovative design of new products and by driving the continuous improvement of existing products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop System-Level design architectures.
• Design-to-Cost and Design-for-Manufacturability.
• Translate customer requirements to system level requirements.
• Allocate system level requirements into hardware and software requirements.
• Failure modes and safety analysis.
• Timeline/latency analysis.
• Develop functional models ahead of design allocation and physical models.
• System-level simulations to assist in validation of requirements / features.
  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or other similar field
  • Experience with DO-178B development, DO-254, and DO-160 Qualification Testing
  • Experience in avionics development
  • Experience with customer and/or FAA audits
  • Experience with a core product line (Radios, Com/Nav, Audio, and/or on-board computing platforms/servers)
  • MBSE experience such as Cameo, SCADE, SysML, Arcadia, Enterprise Architect
