Job Description:
$18.86/hr, 40 hrs/wk, 52 wks/yrPOSITION SUMMARY:In compliance
with Federal Law, all persons hired will be required to verify
identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to
complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon
hire.Working under general supervision and with moderate
difficulty, this position is responsible for assisting individuals
facing barriers to entering the workforce in developing successful
career pathways.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Recruits
applicants and interviews prospective participants to assess and
verify eligibility for program servicesAdministers career
assessments and education tests to assist participants in
developing successful career pathwaysDevelops individual service
strategies and prepares contracts with service providersConducts
participant orientation in areas of program services and community
resourcesProvides case management services to active participants
to assess and address the need for support servicesDevelops and
maintains strong working relationships with local employers and
training facilities to ensure quality service delivery to program
participantsRepresents the agency and the department by
participating on various councils, boards, and committeesConducts
monitoring of participant s program-related activities and resolves
issues between program participants and employers to ensure
successful program outcomesPrepares and submits monthly reports as
necessary to ensure program compliance and to meet federal and
state requirementsDevelops and maintains case files and client
management database files to ensure accuracy and program
complianceOther related duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR
EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma and two years experience in
social/human services, case management, education, criminal
justice, or other related experience; OR an equivalent combination
of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the
ability to perform the duties of the position.CONDITIONS OF

ENVIRONMENT:Physical Activity: Frequent listening, talking,
sitting, repetitive motion, and reaching. Occasional stooping,
kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting,

___Medium; ___ Heavy; ___ Very Heavy. Work involves exerting up to
20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force
frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move
objects.Visual requirements: Close visual acuity for compiling and
analyzing data; viewing a computer screen; and reading.Working
conditions: Occasional exposure to dangerous machinery, extreme
weather conditions, and potential physical harm.
