The City of
Prescott Recreation Services Department is taking applications for
temporary Sports Officials, Scorekeepers
and Supervisors for the upcoming seasons. Games are
scheduled Monday through Friday. Game times vary, but could begin
as early as 6:00 p.m. with the last game ending as late as 11:00
p.m. Weekend work will also be available for tournaments. Sports
may include Adult Softball, Adult Basketball and Adult
mandatory training sessions. Minimum age is 16 years old.
Scorekeepers are required to keep the score book, operate the
scoreboard and announce the game when necessary. Starting pay for
Scorekeepers is $12.15 per game for Softball and Volleyball and $18
per game for basketball.
Must be NSA
Certified for softball. Certification classes will be offered.
Prefer AIA certified for all sports. Officials with previous
experience are preferred, but not mandatory. Must provide own
equipment and uniform. Must attend mandatory training sessions.
Sports officials earn $21 per game for Softball and Volleyball and
$26.25 per game for basketball.
Must have good
customer service skills and be familiar with sports rules. Must
attend mandatory training sessions. Supervisors starting pay is
$12.15 per hour.
Visual Ability: Sufficient to effectively and
