Job Description:
Job Summary The HRIS Business Partner serves as the strategic
liaison between Human Resources, Information Technology, and the
business, ensuring HR systems effectively support organizational
goals, workforce strategy, and operational efficiency. This role
translates business and HR needs into scalable, secure, and
user-centered HR technology solutions. The HRIS BP partners closely
with HR leadership, functional HR teams, IT, vendors, and business
stakeholders to optimize system capabilities, drive continuous
improvement, and enable data-driven decision-making. Essential
Functions · Provides first-line support for UKG HRIS
administration, including user assistance, issue resolution, and
system navigation guidance. · Administers and maintains UKG
applications and modules, ensuring optimal system functionality,
performance, and usability. · Ensures data integrity through
regular audits, validation, testing of system changes, and ongoing
monitoring of employee data accuracy. · Leads configuration,
implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of UKG modules, including
testing and validation of new functionality. · Develops and
maintains automation for key HR processes wherever feasible to
improve efficiency, consistency, and data reliability. · Analyzes
HRIS data flows and business processes to proactively identify
opportunities for process improvement and system optimization. ·
Collaborates with Information Technology (IT), Payroll, Finance,
and Human Resources stakeholders to identify, recommend, and
implement system enhancements. · Manages HRIS security
administration, including user access, roles, permissions, and
settings, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security
standards. · Follows an annual HRIS operational calendar to execute
time-sensitive activities accurately and on schedule (e.g., Open
Enrollment, file interfaces, third-party integrations, regulatory
reporting, and annual compensation updates). · Serves as the
primary point of contact for UKG releases, upgrades, and HR systems
enhancements, including documenting changes, testing functionality,
and communicating impacts. · Develops, generates, and maintains
HRIS reports and dashboards by gathering requirements and
delivering solutions for operational, compliance, and strategic
reporting needs. · Stays current on UKG technology trends and best
practices by leveraging the UKG Customer Portal, attending training
and webinars, and providing recommendations to maximize system
capabilities. Other Duties · Participates in departmental and
association wide informational meetings and in services, including
staff meetings, association wide forums, and seminars. · Attends
educational opportunities to maintain knowledge of standards of
practice in healthcare human resources and teaching/learning
principles. · Establishes and maintains interdepartmental and
interdisciplinary communication. Duties, responsibilities and

or without notice. Abilities · Ability to manage multiple
priorities and meet project deadlines with strong attention to
detail, using analysis, research, and experience to translate HR
requirements into effective system solutions. · Ability to apply
strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills,
including clear written and verbal communication, to collaborate
effectively with diverse stakeholders. · Ability to analyze and
solve complex technical and administrative issues by engaging end
users to understand business needs and determine appropriate
solutions. · Ability to understand and apply HR roles, system
security, access controls, and data protection requirements,
maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance standards. ·
Ability to provide responsive, service-oriented HRIS support,
including troubleshooting issues, determining root cause, and
assessing when escalation is required. · Ability to utilize solid
knowledge of HR processes, HRIS functionality, databases, and
Microsoft Office applications (including advanced Excel) to support
HR operations and reporting. Supervisory Responsibilities None Work

Education and Experience - Bachelors’ degree in IT, Accounting, or
Business. - Prior Experience in HRIS systems required. Preferred
Education and Experience - Experience with UKG HRIS. - Prior
Payroll experience preferred.
