working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Prescott,
Arizona, 86301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Nights, Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS Must-Have: At least 1 year in a PCU setting Description:
Prescreen and manager review required. Clinician must take and pass
a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the
contract. If clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, they
will be DNU for 6 months. Radius Rule: 50 miles. Candidates may not
be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated in the
past year. The float pool will cover multiple units including
MedSurg, Tele, and PCU. Nurse-patient ratios: PCU 1:4, MedSurg Tele
1:5-6. Common diagnoses include geriatric and orthopedic patients,
as well as post-procedural patients. Experience in managing various
titratable drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro,
Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin is essential. Charge nurses will
not take patient assignments. Nurse aides will be utilized in all
settings. Required equipment: CPAP/BiPAP, with monitoring
technology available. Nurses must be able to interpret strips.
Scheduling is managed by a scheduler; the schedule is published 6
weeks out for 4 weeks at a time. Travelers are required to be
flexible with their schedule. Weekend requirements: Every other
Weekend. Holiday shifts will include travelers in the permanent
staff rotation. No call or standby requirements. Unit assignments
will be communicated 2 hours before the start of the shift via text
message. The attire will consist of solid color professional
scrubs. The charting system utilized will be electronic. BSN is not
required. This is an acute care setting. 5 Benefits of Travel
