Monitor Tech Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $1,150 to $1,200 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Monitor Technician (Telemetry Tech) Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 13 Weeks Contract Shift: Day Shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days/week) Pay Rate: $1,150 – $1,200 per week Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Monitor Technician to join a healthcare facility in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring, accurate interpretation of telemetry data, and timely communication of any abnormalities to ensure patient safety and quality care. Key Responsibilities: Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment Interpret and identify arrhythmias and abnormal heart rhythms Notify nursing staff and physicians of any significant changes in patient status Maintain accurate documentation of cardiac rhythms and events Ensure proper functioning of monitoring equipment and troubleshoot issues Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Monitor Technician/Telemetry Tech Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmia interpretation BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
