Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: Graduation
from an accredited program, including EKG Interpretation. Ability
to recognize cardiac rhythms and follow established protocols.
Availability for night shifts and 2-3 day shifts for training and
orientations. Understanding of proper communication channels in
handling routine and emergency situations. Description: This
position is responsible for performing remote surveillance of
cardiac rhythms through a central monitoring station. Technicians
will recognize, record, and report potentially dangerous rhythm
changes and arrhythmias. Work is conducted under the direction of a
Registered Nurse, monitoring up to 60 patients due to advanced
technology. Technicians will take appropriate action and notify
local nursing staff of changes in cardiac rhythms. The role
requires adherence to established procedures and protocols to
improve patient outcomes and department metrics. Availability for
weekend shifts is required, with a commitment to work 4 weekend
shifts during a schedule. Holiday shifts may be necessary based on
unit needs. Technicians may have the opportunity to cross-train in
other roles within the department. Business casual dress code is
expected for this position. There will be department-specific
orientation available for new hires. Cancellation policies may
apply, allowing for shift cancellations during the assignment
period. Charting is completed using the Cerner system. This
position does not require a BSN. Requirements Required for
