Job Details Job Title: Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician Location: Cottonwood, AZ (Verde Valley) — ZIP 86326 Weekly Estimated Pay: $56,850 - $60,910 Assignment Dates: September 18, 2026 – September 25, 2026 Shift: 3 consecutive 24-hour beeper call shifts (7am–7am; 3x24-hour shifts) Practice Setting: Hospital — 99 beds EMR: Cerner (4 hours remote Cerner training prior to start) Job Type: Locum Tenens / Short-term physician assignment (Arizona locum tenens, Cottonwood AZ) Job Requirements & Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Active Arizona medical license or eligible via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) DEA license required Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinical experience COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Ability to complete credentialing within 30 days Primary Responsibilities Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for the OB/GYN unit as the locum tenens physician Manage labor and deliveries (average 0–1 per shift) and respond to callbacks (average 0–2 per shift) Cover for Nurse Midwife and collaborate with nursing and allied health staff as needed Complete timely medical records and documentation using Cerner EMR Participate in interdisciplinary patient care and follow hospital protocols Why This Locum Tenens OB/GYN Job?
