Day shifts, 10 hours (7:00am – 5:00pm), Monday–Friday Practice
Setting: Hospital Cath Lab & In-Office Clinic (hospital-based
cardiology and outpatient clinic) Patient Volume: Clinic: 20–22
adults/day; Cath Lab: 3–4 consults/day, 4–6 EP cases/day
Technology: Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system (EP mapping) EMR: Cerner
Hospital Size: 268 beds Required Qualifications Board Certified or
Board Eligible in Cardiology with fellowship training in
Electrophysiology Active Arizona medical license or willingness to
obtain Arizona medical license (Arizona DEA registration required)
DEA registration in Arizona ACLS certification Minimum 1 year of
clinical experience in cardiac electrophysiology Case logs showing
at least 100 EP cases in the last 2 years, with emphasis on
ablations Comfortable performing moderate sedation independently
Proficient with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system and transesophageal
echocardiography (TEE) COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations
required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) Core
Responsibilities Perform cardiac electrophysiology procedures,
including left-sided and complex ablations Diagnose and manage
heart rhythm disturbances for adult patients Manage EP cases in the
Cath Lab and provide hospital consults Deliver outpatient clinic
care for general cardiology and EP patients Document patient care
and procedures using Cerner EMR Perform TEEs and administer
moderate sedation as indicated Collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams (nursing, anesthesia, cath lab staff) to ensure high-quality
