Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Show Low, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,301 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Show Low, Arizona, 85901! Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS Certification, NIHSS, NRP Must-Have: - 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery - C-section experience - Proficient in fetal monitoring and actions for fetal distress - Experience caring for patients with pre-eclampsia - Clinical background in high-risk patients Description: This position requires a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse. You will work with a total of 7 Labor & Delivery beds and 2 triage beds. You will also care for patients in a postpartum setting with up to 10 beds available. There are typically 1-3 births per day, totaling around 830 births annually. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2. You will be required to float to other units of the hospital, usually MedSurg if needed. You will be responsible for assessing and managing OB emergencies until a provider arrives. Support staff includes a Patient Care Technician and Health Unit Secretary. A Respiratory Therapist will be available in the unit 24/7. The nursing team collaborates closely, with a nurse manager present to provide support as needed. A pharmacy is available in-house 24/7. Weekend requirements include working a minimum of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. You will participate in on-call duty for one shift per 4-week schedule. Experience in couplet care is beneficial, though utilization depends on census.
