Patient Care Tech Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $540 to $648 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $15.00 - 18.00/Hourly. Summary: A Mental Health Monitor (Sitter) provides continuous observation and support to patients at risk of self-harm, suicide, confusion, or behavioral instability. The role focuses on ensuring patient safety, offering emotional reassurance, and promptly reporting any changes in behavior or condition to clinical staff. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one continuous observation of assigned patients. Monitor patients for signs of distress, agitation, or self-harm. Maintain a safe environment by removing potential hazards. Assist patients with basic needs such as eating, mobility, and hygiene (as allowed). Document patient activities, behaviors, and observations accurately. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or GED, Experience viewing multiple monitors, observing patients, and reporting findings.
