This full-time contract position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential support to elementary students in a school setting. Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, you will manage a caseload focused on elementary-aged children, delivering occupational therapy services that enhance their school experience and participation. Responsibilities include: Providing direct occupational therapy assistance to students with individualized needs. Collaborating with educators, therapists, and other school staff to support student progress. Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans tailored to each student's goals. Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Participating in team meetings and communicating effectively with families and school personnel. Qualifications: Active California license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Demonstrated school-based experience working with elementary-aged students. Ability to work onsite at the assigned school location. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Location: This position is based onsite at an elementary school in Glendale, CA, providing services within a supportive educational environment. This assignment is a contract role with a start as soon as possible and runs through June 12, 2026. The selection process will involve a Zoom interview.
