Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • COVID booster required after submission. Additional Details: An interview may not be available prior to offer. ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Required Skills/Experience - At least 1 year in an ICU setting. - Must be comfortable managing the majority of these drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Insulin. - Must be able to interpret strips. Required Credentials - Clinician must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. If the clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, they will be DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months. Shift & Scheduling - Weekend Requirements: Every Other. - Holiday Requirements: Will be included in the permanent staff rotation. - On-call/standby requirement: On shifts with excessive staff, travelers may be put on standby for their 12-hour shift and can be called in at any point. - Unit assignments are sent via text message 2 hours prior to the start of the shift. Schedule is published 6 weeks out for 4 weeks at a time. Travelers will need to be flexible. Night shift will try to accomodate for block scheduling. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
