Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Show Low, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,163 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Show Low, Arizona, 85901! Job Title: Med Surg/Tele RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: PALS preferred Description: Unit has 24 beds with MedSurg and Tele capability on all beds; heavy on Tele. Cares for adults and pediatric patients, but pediatric patients are assigned to permanent staff. Candidates must be strong in Neuro and Cardiac skills. Two years of experience required. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required; PALS is preferred. Shifts are 12 hours with a 36-hour guarantee and up to three cancellations. Electronic Medical Record system used is Allscripts. Support staff available on the unit includes Tele techs, charge nurse, and patient care technicians. Nurse to patient ratios are 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, and depend on level of acuity. Nurse managers conduct rounds but do not provide direct patient care. Nurses may float to all medical-surgical units and ICU for overflow patients. Hospitalists are in-house 24/7. Respiratory Therapists are available 24/7. Pharmacy services are available 24/7. Scrub color can be any color except all black. Scrubs are not provided.
