Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Vent Management Care of Critical and Trauma Patients Port Access IV and Phlebotomy Cardiac Drip Moderate Sedation Care of Behavioral Health Patients Description: This facility comprises a state-of-the-art hospital featuring medical/surgical beds. It is the only all-private bed hospital serving the surrounding area. The emergency department operates around the clock with multiple beds available. The surgery department includes major operating rooms and endoscopy suites. There is a modern cardiac catheterization unit available. The diagnostic imaging department offers all digital modalities for outpatient and inpatient testing. A Picture Archival Communication (PAC) system provides physicians with instant access to digital images. The emergency department has a patient ratio of 1:4. Equipment includes cardiac monitors and bladder scanners. The electronic health record system utilized is Medhost EDIS. The patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Preferred Skillset/Experience: Emergency Department Experience Trauma Patient Care Team-Based Approach Ability to Maintain Calmness in High-Pressure Situations Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) minimum Dress Code: Scrub color: Black Unacceptable attire includes t-shirts, capris, and clothing with inappropriate wording or pictures, as well as open-toe shoes.
