Job Description Women’s health care group in greater Phoenix area who are committed to providing quality medical services is looking for an OBGYN Hospitalist to work with their 13 OBGYN Physicians covering in-house hospitalist call averaging between 6-8 24hr shifts monthly. This Laborist will be covering 1 of their 2 admitting hospitals which are both community-based hospitals with level III and II nurseries respectively and all sub-specialty support in-house. In addition to covering the practices patients, the Laborist will be expected to provide coverage for the ED and L&D. They will provide patient assessment and triage, coordinate care with the patient's OB/GYN, care for unassigned patients, perform emergency deliveries, assist with surgical procedures, and provide OB/GYN consultation for inpatients and patients in the Emergency Department as needed. The physician would enjoy a great QOL work schedule, a competitive salary and benefits package and occurrence based malpractice coverage. They are looking for candidates ASAP so AZ licensure is a plus.
