Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,864 to $2,058 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) City/State: Phoenix, Arizona Shift: 12H Days, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage, Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/23/2026 Job Description: Registered Nurse needed for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to provide care to patients with cardiac surgery recovery and other related cardiac conditions. The role involves working closely with intensivists, participating in SIMS Lab training, and adhering to the hospital's protocols for sterile procedures and safety. Responsibilities: Provide intensive care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries such as TAVR, lobectomy, and esophogectomy. Maintain sterile field procedures and participate in SIMS Lab training for skill verification. Float to other ICUs and Tele units as needed, maintaining a patient ratio of 4:1 on tele units. Requirements: Must have Level I Trauma experience and pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance. ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCRN preferred. Experience with IABP and CABG patients preferred. Natural hair color, no facial piercings, and clean shaved for fit test required.
