Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery

Nursery experience - Ability to stabilize infants - Ability to care
for multiple patients simultaneously Description: The unit provides
care from labor through discharge. The RN will be responsible for
the care of patients in labor and delivery. The RN will handle
infants during deliveries, including those with diabetic and
drug/alcohol-related issues in mothers. No high-risk deliveries are
performed; all patients are 36 weeks or more. Special care or
high-risk infants may be transported out. The RN does not need to
circulate C-sections but must provide infant care during these
situations. Multitasking is essential as the RN may be required to
care for more than one laboring patient at a time. BLS, ACLS, NRP,
and fetal heart monitoring certification is required. Housing may
be available in a rural area. No cancellation policy is indicated.
Charting is done through a specified system. A BSN is not required
for this position. The care setting is acute. Requirements Required
