Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,274 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Coronary Care ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CCRN preferred Must-Have: - Must have Level I Trauma experience - Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, with two attempts allowed - Must have strong IV skills - Must maintain a natural hair color and have no facial piercings - Must be clean-shaven for fit test Description: This position requires working in a high-acuity unit. Nurses are expected to have experience in cardiovascular intensive care. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:1 to 1:2, with a high number of one-on-one assignments. Traveling nurses may be required to float to other ICUs and telemetry units with a patient ratio of 4:1. All nurses will participate in a skills assessment lab to demonstrate competency in essential procedures. Common diagnoses include cardiac surgery recovery, lung transplants, and other complex cardiovascular conditions. Nurses are expected to perform high numbers of bedside procedures, including bronchoscopy and central line dressing changes. The facility utilizes a 24/7 respiratory therapy team and pharmacy services. Weekend and holiday shifts will be part of the schedule rotation. Nurses will have two days of floor-specific orientation. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively within a team during both day and night shifts. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
