Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is
working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified PCU RN in
Prescott, Arizona, 86301! ID: 75526856 Shift: 12H Nights two
weekend shifts per pay period, nights, first to float Description:
Unit Auto OfferClinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within
two attempts prior to signing contract. If clinician fails to score
80% in two attempts, then they will be DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento
for 6 months. Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full
time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with
CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.
PCU: PCU 16 (up to 20 with double occupancy rooms) All under the
same Critical Care service line - Hospitalists serve PCU patients
1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Acute Care RN
for patients undergoing Cardiovascular services, surgical services
2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized
charting, medication systems, etc.) Philips Cardiac Monitors, Tele,
Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitors, Invasive monitoring. Medtronic
Pacemakers,Cerner EMR, Pyxis Med dispenser, Zoll R series, Sigma
Spectrum IV pumps, Mistral Air Warming units. 3. Required skills
and minimum years of experience. Minimum 1 year PCU experience. EKG
knowledge skills - IV Cardiac Medication administration. Peritoneal
Dialysis, Chronic Vents, Chest Tubes, Epidural Catheters, PCA
pumps, Transvenous pacing, Arterial or Venous Sheath pulling/care.
4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
(ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)ACLS / BLSActive and in good standing AZ
license 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever
work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends
required?) 7A-7P or 7P-7A 12 hour shifts days or nights, 3 shifts
per week required. Upon discussion we may allow scheduling of 4
shifts per week at regular rates if the candidate prefers. 6.
Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which
units/departments?)Floats to the ICU preferred float to MS/Tele
required - Arterial lines, sheath pulls- 7. Bed size/number of
rooms for this unit/dept.14 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
(nursing only)1RN to 3-4 PCU patients depending on acuity. 9. Dress
scrubs Business appropriate hair color 10. Tell us about the
unit/department specific training and orientation program.Fast
paced cardiac and cardiac surgery care; patients from cath lab w or
w/o intervention, or 2-3 days PO open heart surgery. STEMI and
NSTEMI, Also chronic vents, Alcohol withdrawal, suicidal ideation,
New BiPAP or CPAP patients, Thorocotomies, Renal disease.Last
