Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Flagstaff, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,249 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Flagstaff, Arizona, 86001! Job Title: CVICU RN - FLEX POOL Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid, participating compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Fresh open-heart experience is required. Familiarity with all hemodynamic monitoring skills is essential. Experience with IABP and Impella is ideal. Prismaflex CRRT experience is a plus. Description: Position involves working in the CVICU as part of a flex pool. The nurse will have a 1:1 patient ratio during nights and 1:2 during days. Travelers will take fresh open-heart patients directly from surgery or the shift directly after. Floating to Critical Care Units (ICU, STICU & PCU) and MS TELE Units is required based on the skill set. All staff must adhere to quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration procedures. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The daily census in the unit is approximately 11. All candidates must be comfortable with floating as needed based on hospital needs.
