An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with step-down experience to provide high-quality care in a contract position located in Parker, AZ. This role requires dedication to patient well-being and proficiency in managing patients who need more intensive monitoring than a general med-surg unit but do not require ICU-level care. Key Qualifications: Current RN license with step-down or progressive care experience Ability to monitor and care for patients with complex medical conditions Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Flexibility to work day or night shifts; no block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients recovering from severe illness or surgery Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and documentation Location:Parker, AZ, offers a peaceful community setting with easy access to outdoor recreational opportunities.
