ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Float Pool Stepdown Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) • Float between multiple units including MedSurg Tele and PCU across both campuses • May include inpatients holding in Emergency Department • Every other weekend requirement • Must work Christmas as part of holiday rotation • Night shift preferred with potential for block scheduling accommodation • Nurse-to-patient ratios: PCU 1:4, MedSurg Tele 1:5-6 • Unit assignments provided 2 hours prior to shift start via text message • Travel between campuses approximately 20-25 minutes apart • Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts prior to contract signing • Minimum 1 year PCU experience required • Must be comfortable titrating drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin • Ability to interpret cardiac strips required • Care for geriatric patients, orthopedic patients, post-cardiac catheterization patients, post-MI patients, and CABG post-op day 3-4 patients • Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and Heated High Flow • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Dress code: Solid color professional scrubs (transitioning to Navy scrubs in October) • Charting system: Cerner • 8-hour general hospital orientation plus 12-hour shifts at West MedTele and PCU West • Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks) Facility: This regional medical center operates across multiple campuses providing comprehensive acute care services.
