Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Show Low, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,163 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Show Low, Arizona, 85901! Job Title: Med Surg/Tele RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: PALS Preferred Description: Unit has 24 beds with Med Surg and Tele capability on all beds. Care for adults and pediatrics, but travelers do not take pediatric patients as they are assigned to permanent staff. Strong skills in Neuro and Cardiac care are essential. Two years of experience in the specialty is required. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. PALS certification is preferred. Shifts are 12 hours with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Three cancellations are allowed over the 13-week duration. The charting system used is Sunrise Allscripts. Support staff on the unit includes tele techs, charge nurses, healthcare unit coordinators, and patient care technicians. Nurse to patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, with considerations based on the level of acuity. Nurse managers do not provide direct patient care but conduct rounds. Floating to all medical surgical units and ICU is required, taking medical surgical overflow patients. Hospitalists are in-house 24/7. Respiratory therapists and pharmacy services are also available 24/7.
