Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,165 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience reading basic telemetry strips - Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients - Experience with CVA and TIA Description: Unit is a Surgical/Neuro unit with a 48-bed capacity. Patient ratios are 1:5. Common diagnoses include COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, TIA, CVA, as well as general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients. Nursing staff are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign off at least once per shift. Telemetry is monitored remotely, though nursing staff must also engage with strips. Charge nurse or house supervisor will be present; charge nurse does not take patient assignments. Nurse aides assist on the unit with ratios of 1:10-15. Respiratory equipment utilized includes BiPAP, CPAP, high flow oxygen, and other breathing treatments. Shifts are 12 hours in duration starting from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Self-scheduling is utilized, but the final approval rests with management. Weekends and holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving) require specific attendance arrangements. Floating to other units may be required if qualified. Dress code specifies navy blue scrubs.
