in Tuba City, Arizona, 86045! Job Title: Intensive Care / Coronary
Nurse (ICU) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care /
Coronary Nurse (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: All shifts Hours per
Shift: 36 Experience: Must have at least 3 years of prior ICU
experience License: Must have and maintain a current valid
unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice nursing
in any state of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico,
or a territory of the United States. Certifications: Must maintain
current valid certification of the following throughout employment:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association -
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart
Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the
American Heart Association, must be completed within six months of
hire - Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR), must be completed
within six months of hire - National Institutes of Health (NIH)
NIHSS, must be completed within six months of hire Must-Have: -
Experience in an Intensive Care Unit - Professional nursing
knowledge and ability to work independently - Ability to perform a
variety of responsible nursing care procedures Description: Shared
contractor housing only, no pets or family allowed. Provides
services to a large geographic area and serves as a referral
center. The medical facility has a bed capacity of 73. Services
provided include comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency
services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics,
obstetrics and gynecology, oral surgery, eye surgery, and
urological procedures. Approximately 49% of the surgeries performed
are outpatient or ambulatory surgical procedures. The community
offers a culturally rich environment with various native tribes as
part of its population. The medical staff includes a diverse group
of healthcare providers across various specialties. The nursing
staff consists of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses,
nursing assistants, community health nurses, nurse practitioners,
nurse midwives, and other healthcare professionals. This position
is primarily within the Intensive Care Unit and will occasionally
float to other areas as needed. The nurse will provide care to
critically ill patients. Nursing duties include the provision of
inpatient care and support to individuals of all ages and their
families. Recovery of post-operative patients will be conducted as
