Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Tuba City, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,790 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6-7 shifts per pay period Hours per Shift: 12 hours (0800-1830 or 1800-0830) Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid and unrestricted Professional Nursing License from any state in the United States or territories. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire Must-Have: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Nursing Description: The Pediatric Nurse provides nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents. The nurse must have professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments. The role requires the ability to work independently in completing assignments. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures. Nursing duties include supporting individuals of diverse ages and their families. The healthcare facility serves a large area and provides a variety of medical services. The community is culturally rich, with a mixture of diverse backgrounds represented among staff and patients. Clinical staff includes various healthcare providers offering numerous specialties. The nurse will collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care. Regular attendance and participation in meetings and training may be required. The nurse will maintain current certifications throughout employment.
