Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Level I trauma
experience; experience in a busy Level II trauma setting preferred
Description: Position requires circulating in the cath lab. The
team performs 10-25 cases per day. The unit includes 3 main beds, 1
electrophysiology (EP) bed, and 1 hybrid bed for both vascular and
cardiac cases. Shifts are 6 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and
include call shifts. Call varies from 6 to 10 shifts per schedule
with a required response time of 30 minutes. Weekend requirements
include 4 shifts within a 4-week schedule, and holidays are based
on unit coverage. Registered Nurses must have current Arizona
licensure along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Electrophysiology
and peripheral cardiology experience is preferred. Familiarity with
Cerner and Xper electronic medical records is beneficial. The
facility operates with a charge nurse present and utilizes
certified nurse aides and radiology tech staff for support. Common
procedures include interventional cardiology, mitral clips, TAVR,
and IABP placement. Equipment used includes Phillips and Siemens
