Job Description:
Walmart Inc., a leading global retailer, is looking to expand
its dedicated healthcare team by hiring a skilled Staff Pharmacist
for our in-store pharmacies across multiple locations. This role is
crucial in providing exceptional healthcare services and advice to
our community. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of
our efforts to deliver efficient, safe, and friendly pharmaceutical
care. The Staff Pharmacist will also play a key role in managing
our pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with all federal
and state pharmacy regulations. Verify prescription orders and
create accurate medications for patients. Counsel patients on
medication use, side effects, and interactions. Administer
immunizations and manage the vaccination area. Maintain records of
all pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
Supervise and train pharmacy staff and technicians. Manage pharmacy
inventory and perform regular audits. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention
to detail. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced
environment. Proficient in pharmacy information systems and
knowledgeable in pharmacy law and regulations. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active and
clean pharmacist license in the state of practice. Certification in
Immunization Delivery. Ability to meet all employment
qualifications at the time of hire.
