As a Pharmacy Manager at Walmart, you will oversee the operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and adherence to regulatory requirements. Manage day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including customer service, inventory management, and patient safety. Lead and motivate a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a professional environment that emphasizes quality and teamwork. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, as well as Walmart's policies and procedures. Develop strategies to improve patient care, enhance workflow, and increase prescription volume and pharmacy profitability. Counsel patients and provide drug information and immunization support to enhance patient outcomes. Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care. Monitor and manage the pharmacy financial performance and operational metrics. Strong leadership and management skills High proficiency in pharmaceutical operations and prescription systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and manage customer complaints effectively Knowledge of regulatory compliance pertaining to pharmacy laws Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice without any standing restrictions Certification in Immunization Delivery Certified Immunizer or similar credentials are preferred Additional certification in Pharmacy Management or Health Care Administration is a plus
