qualified Cath Lab RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85016! Pay Information
$2,504 per week About The Position Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of RN Cath Lab/EP
experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have:
Ability to run stimulator/cardiac pacing and the ability to scrub
cases Description: The RN role includes circulating, monitoring, or
scrubbing procedures for a cardiac cath lab. Role is
interchangeable and requires all three skill sets. Common diagnoses
treated include all cardiac diagnostic and interventional
procedures, CRM implants, vascular diagnostic and intervention,
Watchman implant, atherectomy, laser lead extractions, and
valvuloplasty. The unit consists of 5 beds with a nurse to patient
ratio accommodating adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Charting is performed using Cerner. Scrub color is any solid color.
Common medications used on the unit include various cardiac-related
medications. Special procedures conducted in the unit include laser
lead extraction, LAAO implant, and Cardiomems/ELG. Call
requirements consist of 6 shifts per pay period, including weekends
and holidays as per rotation. The team is composed of 4 personnel
for both workdays and on-call shifts. Working hours are from 0600
to 1830, Monday through Friday. Float support is provided within
the skill set as needed. Tele interpretation is required.
