(PCU) Location: McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85006 Duration: 13 weeks
(with possibilities of extension) Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM Guaranteed
Hours: Scheduled for 36 hours | Facility may cancel 1 shift per
week Pay Details: CANDIDATES WITH AN AZ HOME ADDRESS ON THEIR
DRIVER'S LICENSE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED For Travelers/Stipend
Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the state of
Arizona and 36 hours are achieved): Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate:
$70.00 Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,520.00 Minimum Hourly W2
Pay Rate: $23.00 Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $828.00 Weekly
Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,692.00 OR For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $73.00 Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay
Rate: $2,628.00 Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and
experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit
(PCU) team. The RN will provide specialized care to patients
requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions,
bridging the gap between the intensive care unit (ICU) and
medical-surgical units. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and assess
patients with moderate to severe conditions requiring close
observation. - Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments
as prescribed. - Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment
such as cardiac monitors and ventilators. - Collaborate with
physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and
implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and families on
disease processes, treatments, and post-hospital care. - Respond to
emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed. -
Support a patient-centered approach, demonstrating compassion and
advocacy. Requirements: - Active RN license (Arizona)/Compact - BLS
