Pay Information $2,308 per week About The Position Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: Contract Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Travel experience Description: Travelers are allowed one call-out per contract. If there is a second call-out, proper documentation will be required and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. This facility has 171 beds and serves as a community hospital and regional referral center. It is accredited and recognized as a certified chest pain center. The trauma level classification is Level 3. The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Common diagnoses treated include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. The unit uses Baxter pumps and an electronic health record system. The primary patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Candidates should possess a flexible shift preference, either accepting day or night shifts. Weekend hours may be required. Float requirements may include working in an intermediate care unit as needed.
