*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires proficiency in various healthcare regulations and standards, including ICD-9 coding, HIPAA compliance, and HEDIS measures.*Duties** Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments.* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.* Utilize eClinicalWorks software for documentation and management of patient information.* Participate in utilization management processes to ensure appropriate resource allocation.* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.* Deliver hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients at end-of-life stages.* Work in a Level I Trauma Center environment, responding effectively to emergencies.*Experience*Candidates should have the following qualifications:* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.* Five (5) years of supervisory experience in discharge planning, case management, or utilization review in an acute-care health care setting or related healthcare clinical leadership.* Knowledge of ICD-9 coding is required for accurate documentation.* Understanding of HEDIS measures to support quality improvement initiatives.* Previous experience in utilization management is a plus.* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients through compassionate care and clinical excellence.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $78.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In personby Jobble
