  • Hospital in central AZ in need of travel RNs for a Med Surg, Tele. PCU float pool.

    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS, BLS
    • 2 years of recent med surg/tele experience
    • 1 year of PCU experience
    • current state license required
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 7-7
      • Schedules are made out for 4 weeks
      • Self scheduling is used but not final until the manager balances
      • 2 weekends per 4 week schedule
      • For Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving, work 2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # Beds: 49
        • Ratios: 1:5
        • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both
        • Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes 1:10-15
        • RT/Equipment: BiPap, CPAP, breathing treatments
        • Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips? Yes, RN's are required to interpret strips and sign at least once a shift.
        • Floating Requirements: Yes, they may float to East Campus, and possibly PCU if qualified
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue
        • Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 1 Shift of orientation on the unit.
          • Additional Details
          • Reading basic tele strips, some experience with CVA and TIA
          • Cerner experience recommended as there is only one day of orientation
          • Total joint replacement experience
