• Certification Details
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips: we take Diltiazem/Cardizem drips at a set rate.

  • Hospital in central AZ in need of travel RNs for a Med Surg, Tele. PCU float pool.
  • Must have 2 years of recent med surg/tele experience, 1 year of PCU experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS, BLS certification required.
    • Must have 2 years of recent med surg/tele experience, 1 year of PCU experience.
    • Current state license required.
    • Reading basic tele strips experience preferred.
    • Some experience with CVA and TIA preferred.
    • Cerner experience recommended.
    • Total joint replacement experience preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 7-7.
      • Schedules are made out for 4 weeks.
      • Self scheduling is used but not final until the manager balances.
      • 2 weekends per 4 week schedule required.
      • Must work Christmas.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Telemetry- WC-Cardiac/Medical 3rd Floor.
        • # Beds: 49
        • Ratios: Nurse 1:5, Nurse Aide 1:10-15.
        • RT/Equipment: BiPap, CPAP, breathing treatments.
        • Nurses required to interpret strips and sign at least once a shift.
        • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor present.
        • Nurse Aides on this unit/ratios: Yes.
        • Orientation: 1 Shift of orientation on the unit.
          • Additional Details
          • Common diagnosis/Types of patients include CHF, COVID, resp, GI, Diabetics, Tele, post cath.
          • No call or standby requirement.
          • May float to East Campus, and possibly PCU if qualified.
          • Navy Blue scrub color/dress code.
