ones and other integrated service providers. Position Summary:
Crisis Services Therapists provide direct client assessment
regarding behavioral health crisis intervention. This includes face
to face, over the phone, at Polara Health and in the community
assessments. Essential Responsibilities:Provides mobile crisis
services to community settings when a behavioral health crisis
event requires assessment and determination of next steps.Works
internally with clinical teams surrounding crisis interventions,
planning and trouble shooting.Provides outreach and engagement to
clients enrolled with Polara Health as needed and as time
allows.Provides individual therapy services and group therapy
services as allowed by credentialing.Makes independent judgments
surrounding behavioral crisis planning and client safety if
admission to an acute psychiatric stabilization unit is not
warranted.Works closely with local community partners and forges
close relationships to ensure on-going collaboration and
coordination of care surrounding behavioral health crisis
situations.Makes eligibility decisions regarding access to services
within agency guidelinesPerforms other duties as
assigned.Qualifications and Education: 21 years of age or older
Minimum qualifications: 4 years of clinical experience and a
Bachelors Degree in a License Eligible field, i.e. Psychology,
Social Work Preferred Qualifications: A Masters degree in a License
Eligible field, i.e. Psychology, Social WorkThis position is
considered Safety-Sensitive by Polara health. EOE/Non-smoking
facility. Pre-employment drug screening/background check required.
