enterprising, energizing and data-driven Director of eCommerce and
Web to drive omni-channel sales and turn our website into a true
point of competitive differentiation and high performing engine to
attract, convert and retain customers.Possessing exceptional
leadership, analytic and conceptual thinking skills, the Director
of eCommerce and Web will accelerate omni-channel sales and
transform NASM's website into the go-to destination for aspiring
and current fitness and wellness professionals. Reporting to our VP
Marketing, the Director of eCommerce and Web will partner with all
functions across the marketing team, as well as key IT and sales
partners, to drive ecommerce and web-influenced phone sales. This
role will develop and mentor a high-performing team focused on site
merchandising and promotion, site experience, conversion rate
optimization, content strategy, and SEO.WHERE YOU'LL WORKThis
position will work hybrid out of our Gilbert, Arizona office.
Remote candidates will be considered.HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Own the ecommerce and web strategy across all key objectives:
ecommerce and web-influenced phone sales, traffic, customer
engagement and conversion rates to ensure we deliver the company's
retail sales plan. Report weekly to senior leadership on progress
against KPIs, key learnings and indicated actions.
- Leverage the website to elevate Return on Marketing Investment,
including maximizing uniquely profitable ecom sales, and leveraging
SEO to raise our visibility and organic traffic.
- Forecast daily and weekly results to ensure we are on track to
meet monthly revenue goals and adjust plan accordingly.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team responsible for
digital commerce operations, UX and analytics, fostering a culture
of innovation, collaboration and accountability.
- Own the end-to-end digital customer experience and content
strategy, in partnership with the performance marketing,
martech/front end dev and creative teams.
- Leverage user insights, behavioral data, A/B and multivariate
testing to continuously improve the site experience and optimize
the customer journey, reducing friction and increasing
conversion.
- Create and implement web marketing and promotional calendars
that leverage key moments to drive relevance and revenue.
- Oversee our SEO strategy and execution team and content
strategy to fuel organic traffic and revenue.
- Partner with the digital marketing and lifecycle teams to
deliver omnichannel personalization and engagement strategies to
deliver a consistent experience across all channels.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and
new digital marketing tactics to ensure our site and ecommerce
marketing reflect the latest best practices.
- Ensure our website reflects a deep understanding of our
consumers, brings our brand positioning to life, embodies NASM's
unique voice and feels fresh, memorable.
- Adeptly manage multiple content workflows and prioritize
projects across teams.WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years' experience driving growth for high-traffic ecommerce
brands, including several years as a Director.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and eCommerce
financials.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best-in-class CX, UX and digital
commerce architectures and technology.
- An inspirational leader skilled in securing cross-functional
support and motivating others to achieve what no one thought
possible.
- Must be a curious thinker who loves problem solving: asking
questions, digging deeper, and getting to the why. Drives
innovation and makes decisions based on deep understanding of the
data.
- Deep knowledge of digital analytics, conversion rate
optimization and testing methodologies. Adept at using data to
monitor results, including Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs,
Hotjar, etc.
- Experience with CMS platforms like Sitefinity and with CMS
WYSIWYG editors as well as with Hubspot. Familiar with basic HTML,
and HTML hierarchy.
