Job SummaryThe Nurse Manager supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality assuring standards of practice are followed by providing leadership to the assigned unit; managing daily operations and patient flow; coordinating personnel, resources and equipment; promoting teamwork and professional staff development; providing leadership support in absence of the Director.Job QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact state RN licenseThree years of RN experience, with two years of experience in the clinical specialty preferredOne year of leadership experience (e.g. charge nurse or other clinical leadership or management role)Must be current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certifiedCurrent AHA ACLS certification requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer serviceBasic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft WindowsProficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related fieldThree years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience strongly preferredMembership of relevant professional organization preferredElectronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred Must pass pre-employment screeningCompany OverviewYavapai Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare provider that offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.
