Job Description Job Description Overview These facilities run continuously. When automation fails, production does not pause for trial and error. It requires immediate diagnosis, correction, and stabilization. We are seeking Controls Specialists who operate beyond basic troubleshooting — professionals capable of isolating root cause, modifying PLC logic confidently, and restoring system stability inside live manufacturing environments. This role is reserved for technicians who have already been the escalation point. This is production-critical automation. Responsibilities Perform advanced PLC diagnostics (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms) Modify ladder logic independently to resolve automation faults Eliminate recurring system instability through structured root-cause analysis Lead troubleshooting during production-critical downtime events Support commissioning, system upgrades, and integration projects Document logic changes and system adjustments with precision Required Experience 7 years in automation-heavy manufacturing Demonstrated independent PLC logic modification experience Experience resolving complex automation failures in live production Multi-shift or continuous production exposure Experience supporting commissioning or system integration Work Environment Automation-heavy manufacturing environments operating continuous or rotating production schedules. Deployment locations vary based on operational demand. Compensation $48–$60 per hour based on PLC depth, logic modification capability, and production-critical troubleshooting experience. Compensation aligned with escalation-level automation specialists. Validation Process All candidates undergo structured technical validation prior to deployment. Only technicians with verified PLC logic modification depth will be considered.
