Technician Pay Rate: $22 to $35 per hour Location: Redmond, WA
Available Shifts 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM 2nd
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Position Overview We are
looking for skilled Satellite Assembly Technicians to help build
and integrate components for advanced satellite systems. This role
involves hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly, ensuring
exceptional precision and quality throughout the production
process. Key Responsibilities Assemble small electrical
sub?assemblies. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of
satellite components, subassemblies, and full vehicle systems.
Install PCB assemblies into product chassis. Build battery cell
modules and assemble solar modules/arrays. Perform wire harnessing.
Solder and desolder SMT and through?hole components. Support
conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related
processes. Conduct functional testing of hardware—including setup,
instrumentation, execution, and teardown. Operate and troubleshoot
complex automated equipment. Support prototype test capability
development for spacecraft components. Assist with installing and
implementing test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition
systems. Maintain and track calibration of lab equipment. Perform
preventative maintenance on test and data acquisition equipment.
Identify testing needs, maintain consumables inventory, and help
develop procedures. Set up tests across multiple regimes (thermal,
shock, vibration, thermal vacuum). Manage workload and
independently execute tasks to meet deadlines. Required Skills &
Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to interpret
drawings, controlled documentation, and process instructions.
Strong computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Must be
available to work overtime. High school diploma or GED. Preferred
Qualifications 1 year of experience in electro?mechanical or
mechanical assembly and integration. Proficiency in wire
harnessing, sub?assembly work, blueprint reading, and interpreting
schematics. Knowledge of electrical wiring standards, IPC?610,
IPC?620, J?STD, and soldering practices. Experience in
electro?mechanical, precision, or high?volume manufacturing. IPC
and/or J?STD certifications. Experience with prototype assembly and

out of Redmond, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $45760.00 - $72800.00/yr. lots of OT: 7-20 hours of
