Christian School (WVCS) teachers are passionate about Jesus and are

responsible for developing and implementing individualized service
plans, providing instructional support, and partnering with
families, teachers, and staff to help each student grow

classroom routine and schedule to support student success.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of young children's developmental,
social, and emotional needs. Encourage problem-solving skills in a
creative and supportive manner. Instruction & Student Growth
Provide high-quality, targeted pull-out instruction across all K-12
grade levels based on students' Individualized Support Plan (ISPs)
Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying abilities and a
wide range of learning needs. Implement evidence-based
instructional strategies to support academic, behavioral, and
functional goals. Classroom Management & Student Engagement
Maintain a structured yet flexible classroom environment that
fosters respect, safety, and learning. Implement positive, fair,
and consistent classroom management strategies. Create an inviting
and organized learning space that enhances student engagement.
Communication & Parent Partnership Regularly communicate with
parents through progress updates, and timely feedback. Keep
accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assignments,
and classroom activities. Foster positive and respectful
interactions with students, parents, and colleagues, modeling
Christ-like love and encouragement. Facilitate and participate in
ISP meetings with families, teachers, admin and service providers.
Collaborate with school staff to support inclusion, accommodations,
and student success. Requirements: Physical Requirements Use a
computer (visual and keyboarding) for long periods. Able to remain
stationary (sitting or standing) 50% of the time. Occasionally lift
up to 25 pounds. At times requires stooping, bending, turning,
pushing, pulling, reaching and climbing stairs (2-story). Use
hands, fingers, and arms to reach, grip, and maneuver objects. Must
be able to respond quickly to sounds (fire/security alarms). Work
in noisy and crowded school environments. Frequent walking
throughout the campus.
