Description of Position

Instruct participants in swimming and safety skills in the water. Provide a fun and educational swim lesson experience for participants. Observe and enforce all rules and regulations of the Yavapai College pool facility to prevent accidents or emergency situations. Certificate and/or three year's experience necessary.
Minimum Expectations & Requirements

Lifeguard:
- Current Life Guard, Red cross water and CPR certification
- Good customer service/public relation skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule

Swim Instructor:
- Same as above
- Must hold a Water Safety Instructor Certification or have at least six (6) months experience teaching all ages from 6 months to adult

Preferred Skills & Abilities

- Work experience in a community college/higher education environment
