Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hydrovac Truck Driver to operate vacuum excavation trucks for a variety of projects including utility exposure, trenching, debris removal, and daylighting. You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). CDL and TANKER required. HAZMAT a plus. Responsibilities: Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner. Perform hydro excavation using pressurized water and vacuum systems to expose underground utilities and other structures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to ensure safe operation and maintenance. Drive trucks to and from job sites in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Complete daily logs, inspection forms, and job-related paperwork accurately. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Qualifications: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record with knowledge of DOT regulations. Prior experience operating hydrovac or vacuum excavation equipment preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must pass drug screening and background checks. Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and underground utility safety.
